Updates! *****All stories can also be found on the "Fanfiction" list.*****

07/31/05 It's been on the lists for some time, but just to complete the collection: here is 'Wings to Spread', my episode of this year's - and in all probability the last - JAG Virtual Season. The 2005 season will take you to (what we writers thought might be) the most important points in Harm and Mac's family life. There are, of course, many other possibilities as to how things might develop, but this is what the VS bunch came up with. Have fun!
05/08/05 Yeehaaa!!! We did it. Cat and I finished another two chapters of what seems to be turning into a never-ending story... But don't worry: the end is already plotted out as we're working with storyboards. It's just that I don't know yet when we'll get there. Anyway, 'Like a Sad Song: Movement II - The Road Home' has been updated for all who are still willing to continue reading it. I hope you'll enjoy Chapters 3&4 - and rest assured: we're already working on 5&6!
05/02/05 So - this was it. Wow. I still can't believe we got our shipper heaven after all. Yes, there were a lot of things I would have wanted to see differently in 'Fair Winds and Following Seas'. Yes, the Vukovic storyline bothered me as it took screentime away from the characters we love. Yes, a huge load of issues has never been addressed and on TV never will be. But still: I LOVED IT! And what I loved most is the fact that I don't even need to know the outcome of the final twist of fate. Harm and Mac are clear that they love each other, and they're going to get married. That's all I ever wanted. So, this is it for me personally, too: as a solo author, I won't continue writing JAG fanfiction. This little vignette is how I'd like to see the finale and just leave it at that (except for the impending last VS, obviously... and Cat and I will continue LASS, too, of course). Thank you all for being such terrific readers and for all the wonderful feedback I got from you! And here's my little farewell gift: 'Split Second'
02/12/05 Isn't shipper life just sad? *sigh* Just when the X-mas episode has given us hope on a happy ending against all odds, DJE announces he'll be leaving the show - and according to the spoilers, there's not the slightest sign that they'll allow Harm and Mac to be happy with each other. This situation just about kills my writing inspiration, but what always helps me to keep my spirits up is reading some good shipper fanfiction. So if I can't offer you anything new right now, let me at least propose a re-read of the best story I've ever written (in my opinion at least). And, of course, that's also due to my fabulous co-writer, AeroGirl. If you're craving some good shipper action, let me invite you to enjoy 'Collateral Damage', set in the middle of season 8 when my JAG world was still sunny.
01/30/05 I know, I know... many of you are waiting for more 'Like a Sad Song' but just like previously, life keeps interfering with Cat's and my writing intentions on that... So, as we're still working on the continuation (It will come, I promise!), in the meantime here's another story for those of you who don't mind reading non-Harm/Mac shippiness. Steph and I worked together on this one and we enjoyed writing it a lot. But as I said: Be warned - this is NOT a Harm/Mac story! This story is about Harm meeting someone else. And BTW, it's a shy try at NC-17 on my part, too... Just so you know what you've got at hand. But if I may say so - the story might nevertheless be worth your while. *smile* So here is for you 'Ever after, after all'
12/22/04 My shipper heart sang with joy after this year's Christmas episode! (Whose didn't?) And, of course, I couldn't rest until I had typed down my take on the aftermath of what's happened in 'The Four Percent Solution'. So here is 'A Four Percent Probability'...
12/19/04 Yes, you can believe your eyes: SC and I FINALLY got round to completing at least part of 'Like a Sad Song', part 2! Real life kept interfering with our writing schedules, but we never gave up, and so we can now thank you all for your neverending patience and proudly present 'Like a Sad Song: Movement II - The Road Home'. Wonders never cease to happen...
11/01/04 Not very much - just my take on the Season-10 opener, inspired by Jen Coates citing one of my all-time-favourite novels: Daphne Du Maurier's "Rebecca". So here's Mac, reflecting about 'Rebecca and I'
09/14/04 Another year, another season, another... Virtual Season! I had the good fortune to take part in this great project again - and it was just as much fun as last year. Check out how things might have turned out in the JAG universe after "Hail and Fairwell" - and enjoy The 2004 JAG Virtual Season! This year, my co-authors trusted me to wrap everything up in a large-scale finale, not exactly a two-parter, but two intertwined episodes. I was pretty intimidated at first, but it turned out incredible fun. Thank you, guys! So, these are my contributions to this year's VS: Episode X: 'Interpreting Reality', and Episode XI: 'Vengeance, Served Cold'.
06/05/04 My Canadian pal Siamese Cat invited me to write a story with her when season 9 had just begun. What had started out as a thrilling idea, turned into a gorgeous project that's not nearly finished yet. However, the first part of the trilogy is ready and up on this site. Attention: MAJOR Harm/Mac shipper warning! The whole story will turn into a H/M plot - but the first part clearly isn't. Consider yourselves warned. If you feel up to the challenge, then let me invite you to one hell of a ride... Daenar and Siamese Cat proudly present:
'Like a Sad Song: A musical JAG novel in three movements. Movement I - The New Road'
05/25/04 After the season 9 finale, my poor shipper heart was tormented and excited at the same time. I just couldn't leave that conversation as it was. Here's my take on how it might have developed: 'The Sword of Damocles'
05/13/04 I added a new category page - with a reverend bow towards AeroGirl, the undisputed Queen of the Flashfic, I decided to try this minimalist 155-words genre out myself. (The Haiku of fanfiction, as my beta eloquently put it. *g*) So here's the first try: 'Three', archived on my new Flashfic Page
05/02/04 No, your eyes don't deceive you: I was finally able to get out a new story! I was awarded the honour to conclude the 2003 JAG Virtual Season (Thanks, Jen!), and used my vacation to write 'One for the Money - II'
02/20/04 After watching 'Crash' (9x15), I had a weird idea about pairing Harm and Shakespeare... The result is 'Sonnet 116'
